F1 2011 , developed and published by Codemasters , is a racing game from the Formula 1 series . The game appeared on many systems; iOS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Windows and Xbox 360.

Gameplay

F1 2011 is a racing simulation with a full FIA license of the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship .

Compared to the predecessors, the DRS , KERS ( already present in F1 2009 , missing again in the predecessor F1 2010 ) and the safety car have been integrated. Multiplayer via split screen is now also possible.

reception

The response in the trade press was positive, the meaningful improvements were praised, but also the weather effects and the realistic sound. There were reasons for criticism a. in the case of racing penalties which are obviously unfairly imposed to the disadvantage of the player.
