F1 2010 is a Formula 1 computer game developed and published by Codemasters and part of the F1 racing game series . It was released on September 23, 2010 for Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 and Windows . The game sold 2.3 million copies for Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Development and content
According to the developers, a complex weather system was developed for F1 2010 , which is an integral part of the game. Changes in the weather, among other things, change the road grip of the vehicles on the route. The covering of the track by things like trees or depressions on the racetrack also plays a role.
In dry weather, an ideal line is displayed on which the best grip exists. During a race weekend, traction is increased by abrasion on the track. The racing cars are continuously developed over the course of a season.
The game includes a career mode that runs over three, five or seven (game) years. Every year can be driven for every team. The teams each have different goals. The media interest depends on whether the player drives for a usually good or rather bad team. Spontaneous interviews take place alongside official interviews after each race.
F1 2010 features all 24 drivers and twelve teams from the 2010 season . All 19 race tracks on the 2010 Formula 1 calendar are included in the game.
