The FC Mamer 32 is a Luxembourg football club from Mamer , who in 2006/07 Luxembourg in the top league, the National Division played. The club colors are red and white. The club plays its home games in the 750-seat Stade Francois Trausch.
history
The association was founded in 1932 as "Jeunesse Mamer". In 1933 it was renamed to today's name FC Mamer 32. In 1940 the club was forcibly renamed “FK Mamer” during the German occupation and renamed again to FC Mamer 32 in 1944.
successes
The club's greatest success so far was promotion to the national division in 2006 by a 4: 3 nE in the promotion game ( barrage game ) in Schifflange against US Rumelange . The 2006/07 season ended Mamer bottom of the table and had to relegate. In the meantime, Mamer was passed down to the 1st division. In the 2010/2011 season they managed a 1-0 win after extra time in the promotion game against Green Boys Harlange / Tarchamps and thus rose again to the honorary doctorate . After relegation in 2013, he was directly promoted again as champion of the 1st Division - 1st District .
At the end of the 2017/18 season , Mamer managed to keep the league with a 1-0 stoppage time in the barrage game against FC Lorentzweiler.
Women's soccer
The most successful department of FC Mamer 32 is the women's football department . The club won the double for the fourth time in a row in the 2008/09 season. In the league, Mamer remained unbeaten and won 17 of 18 games, in the end they had 8 points ahead of runner-up Jeunesse Junglinster . They were also able to prevail against the Junglinsters in the cup final and won 4-2 after falling 2-0 down. It was the fifth cup win in a row for Mamer. Cup victory number six followed in 2017.
