The Jeunesse Junglinster is a Luxembourg football club from Junglinster . The club plays its home games on the "Route de Luxembourg" terrain with a capacity of 1,500 .
history
The association was founded in 1935 under its current name. During the German occupation of Luxembourg in World War II , the association was called FV Junglinster . In 1945 it was renamed FC Jeunesse .
Men's soccer
Jeunesse Junglinster has never played in the national division in the history of the club . In 1995 Jeunesse was about to get promoted to the honorary doctorate , but lost 2-0 in the barrack game against Tricolore Gasperich .
For the 2013/14 season Jeunesse made it to the second highest Luxembourg league, the honorary doctorate , which ended with the immediate relegation. In 2018, he was promoted to League Two again.
In the national cup competition Jeunesse Junglinster reached the round of 16 in 1977/78 (0: 4 against Etzella Ettelbrück ), 1978/79 (0: 3 against FC Olympique Eischen ) and 1993/94 (1: 3 against F91 Dudelange ).
In 2011 Jeunesse won the Coupe FLF , the national cup competition for clubs in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions (third to fifth division) with a 6-0 win over Marisca Mersch .
Women's soccer
The women's football team won the Luxembourg championship in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018 and the national football cup in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018 .
The club took part in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time in 2015/2016 . At the qualifying tournament in Oldenzaal and Hengelo , the Netherlands , they finished last in the group with 0 points and 1:26 goals.
