Waldaist-Naarn is the name of a 4158 hectare European protected area in the districts of Freistadt and Perg in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria in the valleys of the Aist and Naarn .

The FFH area nominated by the Upper Austrian provincial government by resolutions of May 6 and July 1, 2002 includes precisely designated, non-contiguous areas in the communities of Allerheiligen im Mühlkreis , Bad Zell , Gutau , Kaltenberg , Liebenau , Pierbach , Pregarten , Rechberg , Sandl , Tragwein , Schönau im Mühlkreis , St. Leonhard near Freistadt , Unterweißbach , Weitersfelden and Windhaag near Perg .

The nature reserve belongs entirely to the Upper Austrian spatial unit Aist-Naarn-Kuppenland and is located in the valleys of the Schwarzen Aist and Waldaist between Liebenau and Pregarten and the Kleine Naarn and Naarn between Unterweißbach and Perg offer the freshwater pearl mussel a valuable habitat.

The protected areas in the Mühlviertel Nature Park are in the area of ​​the communities of Allerheiligen, Bad Zell and Rechberg .
