The FK Jerv is a football club from the Norwegian town of Grimstad . The club was founded in 1921 and plays its home games at the Levermyr Stadium . The club currently plays in the 1st division , the second highest division in Norway .
FK Jerv was founded in 1921. In his club history, Jerv played in the second, third, fourth and fifth leagues of Norway. The promotion to the second Norwegian league was achieved for the first time in 2014 when the team won the championship title in Norway's third division and thus qualified for the 1st division. The first season in this league was finished fifth. After this season, the successful coach Steinar Pedersen moved from FK Jerv to the first division club IK Start Kristiansand . Head coach at Jerv was Arne Sandstø , who holds this position to this day. Under his leadership, FK Jerv reached third place in the 2016 season and thus took part in the relegation . There you could not prevail against the first division club Stabæk and thus remained second class.
Stadion
The Levermyr Stadium was expanded for the 2017 season so that it can now hold 3,766 spectators. The stadium has two grandstands, the west grandstand and the east grandstand.

The club provides a U19 team that takes part in Norwegian games. The club also has a youth academy , which is used to identify and promote talent.
