Fabian Navarro (* 1990 in Warstein ) is a German poet, author, cabaret artist and poetry slammer .

Life

He grew up as the son of a German / Spanish family of five in the Sauerland and celebrated his first successes in 2009/10 with victories at poetry slams in the region. In 2011 his first text collection was published by the Paderborn Lektora- Verlag under the name Ganz much crap and a little poetry, followed in 2014 by the same publisher "From A to B". The multiple participant in poetry slam championships is one of the most successful slammers in the country today. In 2015 he reached the final of the German-speaking championship in Augsburg, made it to the final jump-off and ultimately came third. In 2017 in Hanover he reached second place. In the meantime, the German studies student lived in Hamburg, where he organized various literature events such as reading stages. He has since taken part in more than 500 slams and readings. He programmed the poetry bot "Eloquentron 3000". In 2020 he began to carry out online streams on Twitch with readings, radio plays and workshops in the wake of the corona pandemic . In addition, together with Jasmin Schreiber and Johannes Floehr, he is responsible for the "Streamkultur" project on Twitter . There they collect online streams from cultural workers.

Together with Jan Philipp Zymny and Maximilian Humpert , he formed the slam team Team 101 until 2015 , and they reached the team final in 2012.

Fabian Navarro works and lives in Vienna . Nevertheless, he continues to appear on the Hamburg reading stage Randale und Liebe together with David Friedrich (poetry slammer) and Bente Varlemann .
