Fabiano Ribeiro de Freitas or short Fabiano Ribeiro or just Fabiano (born February 29, 1988 in Mundo Novo , Bahia ) is a Brazilian soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Fabiano Ribeiro started playing for the Rio Branco EC youth division in 2003 . Four years later he was accepted into the professional squad of São Paulo FC . From this club he was used only once in a league game and otherwise loaned to various Brazilian clubs.

In 2011 Fabiano Ribeiro left his home country and joined the Portuguese club SC Olhanense . After he was able to prove himself as a regular goalkeeper here in one season, FC Porto signed him for the new season . At this club he played both for the first team and for what is known as FC Porto B the second team.

For the 2015/16 season, his club loaned him to the Turkish Süper Lig at Fenerbahçe Istanbul . After the loan, he played for Porto until the end of the 2018/19 season, after which his contract was not renewed. In October 2019 he then joined the Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia .
