Fabrice Abriel (born July 6, 1979 in Suresnes , Hauts-de-Seine department ) is a former French football player . He is under contract with Valenciennes FC in Ligue 2 .

Abriel comes from the Paris Saint-Germain youth department . For the 1999/2000 season he was taken over in its professional team. During the winter break of the 2000/01 season he moved to Switzerland on loan to Servette Geneva . He won the Swiss Cup with the French-speaking Swiss . After the season he returned to Paris and was awarded by PSG to the lower class SC Amiens . For the 2002/03 season he moved permanently to SC Amiens, from which he moved to EA Guingamp in late August 2004 . For the 2006/07 season Abriel moved to Ligue 1 for FC Lorient , where he played in the regular formation. For the 2009/10 season he went to Olympique Marseille , with whom he won the championship title in his first season and played in the Europa League and Champions League . From 2011 to 2014 Abriel played at OGC Nice , after which he moved to Valenciennes FC .
