Fabrizio Mori

Fabrizio Mori (born June 28, 1969 in Livorno ) is a former Italian athlete , whose specialty was the 400-meter hurdles .

Fabrizio Mori reached sixth in 48.41 s at the 1996 Olympic Games for the first time a grand final, after failing in three world championships and once at European championships in the semifinals. In 1997 he was fourth in 48.05 s at the World Championships in Athens . In 1998 he won bronze in 48.71 s at the European Championships in Budapest .

In Seville at the 1999 World Championships he was initially disqualified in the semifinals, but was then allowed to start in the final after a protest. He won in 47.72 s. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , he was seventh in 48.78 s. He set the current national record in 2001 when he won silver behind Félix Sánchez from the Dominican Republic in 47.54 s at the World Championships in Edmonton . In 2002 he was fifth again in 49.05 s at the European Championships in Munich .

With a height of 1.75 m, he had a competition weight of 68 kg.
