length 4 km

The Fackenburger Landgraben is an approx. 4 km long stream that separates the large community of Stockelsdorf and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck . It is part of the Lübeck Landgraben as part of the medieval Lübeck Landwehr . The Fackenburger Landgraben is a recognized natural experience area in both Stockelsdorf and Lübeck .

The Landgraben flows from the Groß-Steinrade district of Lübeck's St. Lorenz district and the Dornbreite settlement through Krempelsdorf, where the federal road 206 between the "Hinrichsen locksmith's shop" and the "Lübecker Hof" hotel crosses. From there, next to the Landgraben, there is a cycling and hiking trail in the Lübeck area.

To the east of the course of the stream lies the approx. 53 hectare Vorwerker cemetery in the city of Lübeck. Passing the Gerhardt Hauptmann primary school and the Lübeck municipal transport depot , the Landgraben leaves the Stockelsdorf community in order to then delimit the cities of Bad Schwartau and Lübeck.

After crossing under the Autobahn 1 between the Lübeck-Zentrum and Bad Schwartau junctions, the Landgraben flows into the Tremser pond , which drains over the further watercourse of the Mühlenbach into the tributary of the Trave at Teerhofinsel .
