Michael Shiver is a New York City taxi driver . One day he meets the wealthy British girl Sarah Easton, who becomes his client. Easton works as a model and is married to Phillipe, who loves her. She still has an affair with Shiver.

Reviews

Lawrence Van Gelder described the film in the New York Times on June 20, 1997 as a "narcissistic" romantic comedy . He offers "uninhibited" dialogues and appealing images of the Upper West Side . The dramaturgical tension is missing.
