Reviews

Fabian Wallmeier from rbb24 writes that you sometimes feel reminded of American slacker films from the early 1990s, such as those made by Richard Linklater about similar guys. However, Gábor Reisz told the story in a wonderfully fresh way, was melancholy in tone and lovingly ironic, and the cinematic design, with many flashbacks and the childhood of the protagonist, was extremely unique and imaginative. In this way a very modern generation portrait emerges with ease.
