Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival
The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival ( PÖFF for Pimedate Ööde filmifestival , also the film festival of dark / black nights ) is a film festival that takes place in Tallinn every November . It was founded in 1997 with a focus on Nordic film. With around 250 feature films, 300 short films and around 80,000 visitors per year, it is the largest film festival in Northern Europe and the Baltic States . It is one of the FIAPF accredited festivals with international competition.
The festival also includes two other film festivals, the Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (HÕFF) and the Tartu Love Film Festival Black Nights (TARTUFF).
