Famitsū ( Japanese フ ァ ミ 通 ) is a Japanese video game magazine. It is published by the Enterbrain publishing house and is one of the world's most renowned magazines in this field.

The following versions of the Famitsū are available: Shūkan Famitsū ( 週刊 フ ァ ミ 通 ), Famitsū Xbox 360 , Famitsū DS + Wii and Famitsū Connect! On ( フ ァ ミ 通 コ ネ ク ト! オ ン ). The formats set are Famitsū PS and Famitsū Wave DVD .

Shūkan Famitsū appears weekly and has a circulation of almost 500,000 units. The first edition appeared in 1986 .

In Europe, Famitsu usually causes a sensation in the specialist press with its rating system: four editors each award up to 10 points, which are then added. Games receive a maximum of 40 out of 40 points. So far, a total of 26 games have received this rating:
