Famoe , real name Fabiano Montesano , (born March 28, 1987 in Göppingen ) is an English-speaking rapper of Italian descent. He was nominated for the Official Mixtape Award 2012 in London. He is the owner of "Rap & Rhymes Records" and has been under contract with Kingsize Records GmbH since 2018.

biography

In 2001 Famoe accompanied his dance teacher to an MTV music video clip contest and reached the final round. He then took part in a talent competition series with a cover performance of " Nelly - # 1". In 2002 he took part in a rap competition in Rignano Garganico / Foggia. A short time later he worked with David Michael Johnson (Starlight Express) and Andrew Hunt (Westside Story) on his stage presence. In 2003 Famoe founded his own music label "Rap & Rhymes Records" and met his future friend Nino, a former hobby remixer . In the same year he recorded his first EP “Dancing in my Block” with Nino and the first single “This Life”. In 2006 the debut album " The Italian Stallion " was released under his old artist name Fantastical, which was released in an edition of a thousand CDs and Fantastical became Famoe, derived from his name Fabiano Montesano.

In 2009 the album concept "Xplicit!" Was ready for implementation, but raising the funds for the production proved difficult. Finally he flew to Boston / USA to "Surefire Music Group" and recorded a complete album, including a. with artists like " Hot Rod & Spider Loc " from 50 Cent his G-Unit team , Darnell from the R&B group Shai, Scola from Dru Hill , Serius Jones, and the winner of the Making the Band 4 season Donnie Klang, who contributed to this Was still under contract with Bad Boy Records / P. After the 2014 single with rapper Kurupt ( Dogg Pound Gang ) "On my Side", Famoe ended with Roksolid Ent. the joint collaboration, as the artist's support was not adhered to as agreed. In 2015, Famoe created the 16Bars rap blog series, which is always represented with a verse and a short music video so as not to disappear completely from the scene. At the end of 2015 Famoe published the mixtape "Famoe's 16Bars Rapblog Vol.1".

On August 5th, 2016 Famoe released his last studio album "Lifetime - The Lost Tapes" and jumped to number 48 on iTunes in the Top 100 Album Charts. Famoe then worked with Hot Money Studios in London on his long-awaited studio album "Paradigm" Artists like TQ , Big Brovaz and others, however, the project has been suspended until further notice.

In July 2018 Famoe signed a contract with Kingsize Records GmbH with Alex Christensen and published with him and in collaboration with Stephan Endemann on August 3, 2018 an international version of the German song “ Lorenz Büffel - Johnny Däpp” entitled “Good N8 vs Famoe - Like Jonny Däpp ”. The debut single in the dance genre was released via Kontor Records and is also featured in the Summer Jam 2018 compilation by Kontor Records, which landed in the compilation charts in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . The single was then licensed and released in Scandinavia exclusively through the Quattro Music record company on August 17, 2018 . On August 22nd, 2018, the single landed for the first time in the official DJ-Dance Charts in Denmark from 0 to 37th. In calendar week 35, the single made it to the international DJ charts at number 25.
