Rignano Garganico is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1958 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Foggia in Apulia . The municipality is located about 15 kilometers north of Foggia on the Candelaro in the Gargano National Park and also belongs to the Comunità Montana del Gargano .
history
In 1137 there was a battle between Roger II of Sicily and Count Rainulf II of Alife, from which Rainulf emerged victorious.
