Isole Tremiti is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 458 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) on the archipelago of the Tremiti Islands in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region with the seat of the municipal administration in San Nicola . The patron saint is St. Santa Maria Assunta .

Location and dates

Isole Tremiti is located north of Foggia in the Adriatic Sea . The parish has no neighboring parishes. The municipality includes the islands of San Domino , San Nicola , Capraia (uninhabited), Pianosa (uninhabited) and Cretaccio (uninhabited), which also form parts of the municipality ( frazioni ). The municipality covers an area of ​​3.18  km² . The San Domino heliport is located on the island of San Nicola .
