Orta Nova is an Italian town with 17,333 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the south of Italy , east of Naples . It belongs to the province of Foggia and the Apulia region (Regione Puglia).

geography

Orta Nova lies in the middle of the Tavoliere delle Puglie plain . The place is about 35 km southeast of Foggia . The neighboring communities are Ascoli Satriano , Carapelle , Cerignola , Ordona , Stornara and Stornarella .
