Serracapriola is a south-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3806 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Foggia in Apulia . The municipality is located about 50 kilometers northwest of Foggia in the Gargano National Park and borders directly on the province of Campobasso ( Molise ). The eastern border of the municipality forms the Fortore . The physical northern limit is the Adriatic coast . In the municipality there is a convent founded by Pio of Pietrelcina .

The A14 autostrada from Bologna towards Taranto , Strada Statale 16 Adriatica along the Adriatic coast and the former Strada Statale 16ter (now a provincial road 142) from Campomarino to San Severo run through the municipality .
