The Fare is a river in France that runs through the Center-Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire regions. It rises in the municipality of Sonzay , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Loir as a left tributary after around 38 kilometers at the municipal boundary of La Chapelle-aux-Choux and Saint-Germain-d'Arcé . On its way, the Fare crosses the Indre-et-Loire and Sarthe departments .
