Fassmer FPB 18 is the shipyard name of a series of customs cruisers from the Fassmer shipyard in Berne / Motzen, of which two ships were built for the German customs administration in the mid-1990s.

The ships are used by the sea control unit of the Federal Customs Administration in the North and Baltic Seas for customs and tax law tasks. In addition, they are also available to the federal coast guard and are used in the field of environmental and fisheries protection. The range of the ships is 300 nautical miles .
Technical data and equipment
The vessels are powered by two MTU - Diesel engines (type: 8V 183 TE 92), each with 440 kW power driven. The motors act on two propellers . The ships reach a speed of 22 knots .
A rigid inflatable boat is carried on board the ships as a rescue boat . This can be lowered into the water using the on-board crane and brought back on board.
