Fist award 2013
The eighth presentation of the German Theater Prize Der Faust took place on November 16, 2013 in the State Opera in the Schillertheater in Berlin in the presence of Federal President Joachim Gauck and Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit . It is awarded in cooperation with the Kulturstiftung der Länder, the German Academy of Performing Arts and an annually changing federal state. The event was financed by the Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin, the Kulturstiftung der Länder and the Deutsche Bühnenverein .

- Prize of the President: Entire ensemble of the Staatsschauspiel Stuttgart for its courage to discover, its improvisational power as well as for its unrelenting intensity and productive serenity in view of the scandalous renovation situation of the theater
