Fist award 2018
The Faust Award 2018 , the 13th award of the German Theater Prize Der Faust , took place on November 3rd in the Regensburg Theater and was moderated by Genija Rykova . The nominations were announced on September 19, 2017, the Lifetime Achievement Prize was awarded to Aribert Reimann .
A five-person jury named by the German Academy of Performing Arts and made up of the following academy members decided on the winners for the first time : Jürgen Flügge , Regina Guhl, Peter Michalzik , Barbara Mundel and Sylvana Seddig. The prize was funded in 2018 by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art , the City of Regensburg , the Cultural Foundation of the Federal States, the German Academy of Performing Arts and the German Stage Association, the cooperation partner was the German Stage Association of Bavaria.
