action

17-year-old Nicole Walker met the handsome David McCall at a rave party she attended with her best friend Margo. He corresponds exactly to your dream type. When chaos breaks out during a brawl at the party, Nicole and David save themselves over the roof. Although Nicole cannot correctly interpret her feelings, the two now meet more often.

One day Nicole brings David home to introduce him to her father Steve, a successful architect , and stepmother Laura. Steve is not very fond of David, although he has very good manners and with his charm has not only wrapped Nicole but also Laura. David has something to hide - that's definitely Steve's opinion. He forbids Nicole to deal with him. But that only drives Nicole closer into his arms. Nicole cannot understand why her father reacts this way, and David gains more and more influence in Nicole's life.

One evening when Nicole comes to David unannounced, she sees through the window that David is cheating on her with her best friend Margo. She is horrified and wants to part with David. But he doesn't accept that. He follows Nicole at every turn. The initial dream turns into an inescapable nightmare for Nicole, because soon David is making life hell not only for her but also for the whole family.

Steve breaks into David's house to look for evidence. In doing so, he comes across scary things (including Nicole's underwear, a necklace whose embossing he changed from “Daddy's Girl” to “David's Girl”, conviction photos) that make it clear to him that David is not to be trifled with and that David is a psychopath . Now it's up to Steve to protect his family. That same evening, David and his violent friends stand in front of the Walkers' house to take revenge for Steve's devastation of his community, kidnap Nicole and wipe out the rest of the family.

After killing their dog Kaiser, despite the barricades Steve has put up, David manages to get into the house where he takes the family prisoner. The horror comes to an end, however, when David falls out of a window after a fight with Nicole's father and dies.
