The Feistritzbach (also: Liembergbach) is a brook in central Carinthia . It arises from the confluence of Liembergbach and Harter Bach in the village of Glantschach (574 m above sea level ) in the municipality of Liebenfels ( district of Sankt Veit an der Glan ) and flows through the Feistritzklamm, which from the Wimitz mountains to the village of Liebenfels (formerly Feistritz) leads. Below Liebenfels it flows into the Glan (477 m above sea level ).

Aiteln and brown trout are found in the stream . The ecomorphological state of the stream is close to nature.

Feistritzklamm, with building ruins

In the now vacant Feistritzklamm, there used to be numerous businesses along the brook, for example there was a hammer forge, a steel hammer, a sawmill, a grinding mill and several ancillary, commercial and residential buildings (status 1828). A devastating flood on July 5, 1874 destroyed all of these buildings. Since the few rebuilt buildings in the Feistritzklamm were again destroyed by a flood in September 1891, only minor ruins are reminiscent of the earlier iron processing.
