The chapel was first renovated in 1797. The chapel's furnishings were expanded over time, including the installation of four votive tablets from the first half of the 19th century. Chapel building

The altar of the open chapel

The chapel is designed as a saddle roof building with a surrounding cornice , which is stronger at the gable. The roof is covered with red clay tiles. The building ends to the north with a semicircular end, on the south side there is a small vestibule supported by two round columns with bulging capitals . The side openings between the columns and the actual chapel are closed with wooden panels. There are two recessed arched windows in the west and east walls of the chapel . The chancel of the chapel is usually by a light blue painted, double-wing door Holzbalustern with a patch in the middle pilasters closed before the two level in the same color kneeling benches are set up.

Sanctuary

On special occasions, the usually locked doors of the chapel are opened to reveal the chancel. On a simple altar there is a wooden figure of Saint Mary with the baby Jesus in her arms in front of a mural on the north wall, which shows a bay window between two columns on each side, so that a spatial impression is created. On both sides of the altar there are two votive tablets with the miraculous image , which date from the first half of the 19th century. Three of the pictures are executed in oil on sheet metal, one in oil on wood. In the chapel there used to be a stone relief made of Solnhofen limestone with a representation of the English greeting , which was created around 1500 and whose original origin is unknown. The relief is now on permanent loan in the Maximilian Museum in Augsburg .
