Felicissimo Stefano Tinivella OFM (born August 30, 1908 in Castagnole Piemonte , Province of Turin , Italy , † August 6, 1978 ) was Archbishop of Ancona and Numana .

Life

Felicissimo Stefano Tinivella joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 28 February 1931, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 9, 1955, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Diano-Teggiano . The Archbishop of Turin , Maurilio Cardinal Fossati OSSGCN , donated him episcopal ordination on May 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Pinerolo , Gaudenzio Binaschi , and the Bishop of Gerace-Locri , Pacifico Maria Luigi Perantoni, OFM. On September 11, 1961, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Cana and ordered him to Coadjutor Bishop of Turin. Tinivella resigned as Coadjutor Bishop of Turin on September 18, 1965. At the same time he was appointed titular archbishop of Uthina .

On February 22, 1967, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Archbishop of Ancona and Numana. Felicissimo Stefano Tinivella resigned as Archbishop of Ancona and Numana on July 6, 1968 and was appointed titular Archbishop of Bellicastrum . On December 12, 1970 Tinivella renounced the titular diocese of Bellicastrum.

Felicissimo Stefano Tinivella attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
