The Felidhu Atoll is located in the center of the eastern island chain of the Maldives in the Lakkadive Sea .
geography
The atoll is in the shape of a small boot, with a maximum length of 68 kilometers and a maximum width in the south of about 42 kilometers.
Of the 26 islands in the atoll, only five are inhabited. In addition to the main island of Felidhoo on the eastern reef rim, these are the islands of Fulidhoo , Keyodhoo , Rakeedhoo and Thinadhoo .
In 2006, 1,502 people lived in the Felidu Atoll.

The Felidhu Atoll , together with the small, south adjoining Vattaru Atoll, forms the Maldivian administrative atoll Felidhu Atholhu , with the Thaana short name ވ( Vaavu ).
