Felix Boehmer

Felix Boehmer (born September 5, 1851 in Stettin , † November 16, 1920 in Stargard in Pomerania ) was a German lawyer and member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

Life

Felix Boehmer studied after high school law . He began in Heidelberg in the summer semester of 1870 and became a member of the Frankonia fraternity there . One semester later he moved to the University of Göttingen (where he joined the fraternity of Hannovera ) and then completed his studies in Berlin. After the usual further legal training, he worked as a court assessor in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Stettin . In 1892 he was appointed to the district judge in Wollin. Later, when he was appointed district court director, he was transferred to the district court Stargard (Pomerania); there he was also the representative of the district court president. He was a lieutenant in the Landwehr cavalry .

In a by-election in 1907 for the Prussian House of Representatives in the constituency of Stettin 4 ( Pyritz , Saatzig , Stargard in Pomerania ), he prevailed and, as a member of the Conservative Party, retained this mandate until 1913.

Felix Boehmer wrote works on Pomeranian history , including some important city chronicles.

His son Gustav Boehmer (1881–1969) also became a lawyer and last worked as a university professor in Freiburg.
