history
The first documentary mention took place in 1803.
The hospitality in Heinrichsort began in 1920/21 with his wife, Oskar Müller. They bought land and built pensions. That was the beginning of the hospitality near the Rennsteig on the heights. A swimming pond was set up at the Swiss house. After the Second World War , the Red Army occupied the area and confiscated the house. In the course of time it became a restricted area and selected guests were able to visit it. From 1973 until the fall of the Berlin Wall , the house was a vacation home of VEB Carl Zeiss in Jena . Since 1993 public hospitality has been given again by a family.
