Felix Herzogenrath
Felix Herzogenrath (born June 22, 1975 in Cologne ) is a German film director and screenwriter .
Career
From 1996 to 1999 Felix Herzogenrath studied art history and literature at the Free University of Berlin. He then studied from 1993 to 2003 at the private School of the Arts at New York University. He initially directed and wrote the screenplay for the US short film The Shine of Things (2003). The film was shown at various festivals in North America. From 2005 he directed over 20 episodes of the German television series Großstadtrevier . From January to April 2007, Herzogenrath completed a guest fellowship at the Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. His script project Olympia reached the finals of the Sundance Institute. After graduating, he went back to Berlin. At Studio Hamburg , he worked as Director.
Since 2004 he has directed a large number of successful series and television films in Germany. Together with authors, she develops materials for the international market and German television. Felix lives in Berlin and is a member of the Federal Association of Directing .

Private
Felix Herzogenrath has been married to Austrian actress Franziska Weisz since 2015 , whom he met in 2012 while filming the ZDF series Die Bergretter .
