Felix Jaeger (born February 17, 1997 in Gummersbach ) is a German handball player .

Career

Jaeger was trained in the handball academy of VfL Gummersbach . In the B youth he was German runner-up with VfL. In the 2015/16 season Jaeger played in the major league for TuS Derschlag , which this season together with VfL formed a syndicate called Handball Sport Gummersbach / Derschlag . In Gummersbach he was used for the first time in the 3rd division . For the 2017/18 season Jaeger moved from the second team of VfL Gummersbach to third division club SG Leutershausen . In September 2017 he was given a second game right at the first division club TVB 1898 Stuttgart . For the 2019/20 season, Felix Jaeger moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for the newly promoted HSG Krefeld . In January 2020 he switched to league competitor HSG Konstanz .

Jaeger plays on the position of a backcourt player .

Personal

Felix Jaeger is the son of Gunnar Jaeger , who was also active as a handball professional. The national player became German champions with VfL Gummersbach.
