The telecommunications tower Hamburg-Lohbrügge is in the Bergedorf district and is a so-called type tower (FMT 16). At 138.5 meters, it towers over the Sander Tannen forest in Hamburg-Lohbrügge and stands approx. 100 m next to the former Sander Dickkopp water tower . In 1987 it replaced a steel lattice mast from the 1960s.
The 70 cm multimode relay DB0HHH used by radio amateurs is located on this telecommunications tower (output frequency 438.625 MHz, with EchoLink connection , code number 153627). The relay transmitting antenna is on the top of the tower at 138.5 m. The receiving antenna is approx. 20 m further down - so the relay does not need a switch.
