The Roman Catholic branch church in Albersdorf in the community of Schiefling am Wörthersee is consecrated to Saints Ulrich and Martin and belongs to the Schiefling parish . The church in Albersdorf / Pinja vas was probably founded by St. Albuin . A consecration of a St. Peter's Church in Weride (Wörth) by the Archbishop of Salzburg , mentioned in a document in 865, could have taken place in Albersdorf, as a former St. Peter's patronage has come down to us. In the Middle Ages, Albersdorf was a subsidiary of Maria Wörth .

Building description

The church is a single-nave, Romanesque building with a lower, retracted and just closed choir. The roof turret is crowned by an onion hood . The bell was cast by Peter Pfinzing in the 15th century. The choir has an exedra that extends to the window . A Romanesque high window has been preserved on the south wall. The other windows in the nave and choir are equipped with two-part, neo-Gothic tracery . The ornamental glass panes were made in 1891. On the north wall of the nave, a fresco of St. Martin from the 17th century covers a thematically identical representation from the 15th century. Next to it is a late Gothic fresco fragment of St. Christopher . The profiled, ogival, Gothic west portal is protected by an open vestibule. To the left of the portal is a crucifix in a wooden shrine from the 17th century.

In the two-bay nave, a ribbed cross vault rests on strong pillars. The 17th century wooden west gallery shows stencil painting on the underside. A low, round-arched triumphal arch connects the nave with the choir, which is spanned by a burr cross vault. On the north wall frescoes depicting a crucifixion with Mary and John were found.

The altar bears a sculpture of St. Stephen from 1878 and a statuette of God the Father in the top . In the cafeteria there is a popular Baroque picture of the Holy Family .
