The Roman Catholic branch church Eibesbrunn is located on Brünner Straße in the village of Eibesbrunn in the municipality of Großebersdorf in the Mistelbach district in Lower Austria . It is consecrated to the feast of the Epiphany and, as a branch church of the Großebersdorf parish, belongs to the Wolkersdorf deanery in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The building is a listed building .

history

The church was built in 1814 and expanded a year later. In 1966 it was restored and, in the course of this, enlarged to the west by the architect Erwin Plevan .

Building description

The church is a simple baroque hall building with a facade tower and a choir on the west side . In the middle above the entrance front is the three- story church tower between segment-arched gable ends .

There is a flat ceiling over the nave and the retracted choir. The organ gallery rests on a three-bay arched column arcade .

The altar panel of the high altar shows the three wise men on a baroque oil painting. The Way of the Cross and the stained glass windows from 1966 are by Hermann Bauch .

The bell was cast by Joachim Gross in 1693 .
