Building description

The late Gothic church, which is surrounded by a cemetery wall , was expanded in the Baroque era . The church tower with baroque sound windows and a helmet stands on the north side of the nave. The west facade with portal roof has a large figural niche in the gable field. In the 17th century the church was extended by a yoke to the west and the side aisles were widened. The chapel extension on the northern sloping wall and the extension on the south side, which serves as a sacristy , date from the Baroque period . With the exception of the cross-vaulted western yoke, the nave is vaulted with a barrel, some of which have stitch caps . A high, pointed triumphal arch connects the nave with the single- bay choir with a five-eighth end and simple tracery windows from the 15th century. Here a ribbed vault rises above delicate polygonal wall services .

Facility

The high altar with column architecture was created in 1739–1741 and taken in 1747 . The central figure of St. Florian is flanked by the statues of the apostles Peter and Paul , while the holy Oswald and Donatus stand above the sacrificial passage portals . The essay depicts the Holy Trinity surrounded by adoring angels.

The left side altar from 1669 consists of a frame architecture with a round arched central niche, lateral shallow shell niches and an ornamental niche between small volutes as an attachment. The altar is decorated with simple cartilage, fruit pendants, side ears and cherub heads on the base, niches and top as well as a Marian monogram on the carved antependium . The altar bears a statue of the Virgin Mary and a Saint Sebastian carved in 1669 in the top .

The Johannes Nepomuk altar from the first quarter of the 18th century with its carved antependium and flat carved reredos shows Johann Nepomuk on the altar leaf with rich tendril framing and the dying Franz Xavier in the upper picture painted around 1720 .

In the sacristy there is an altar from 1637 with an aedicula on a high base, lateral canopy arches, column shafts decorated with vine tendrils and a blown triangular gable as an attachment. The altar bears a figure of St. Helena from the middle of the 18th century as well as the statues of St. Barbara and Catherine from around 1665 on the side .

The Florian altar in the side chapel dates from the first quarter of the 18th century and shows the coronation of Mary in the top picture .

The classicist pulpit from the end of the 19th century carries the apocalyptic lamb and the tablets of the law on the roof . The console figure of the Madonna and Child on the north wall above the tower portal was created around 1665. The neoclassical Stations of the Cross were created at the beginning of the 20th century.
