Filip Mirković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Филип Мирковић ; born October 7, 1988 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vojvodina Novi Sad again since 2017 and plays with the club in the International Hockey League .

Career

Filip Mirković began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Vojvodina Novi Sad . Since 2005, the striker has played for the club's first team in the Serbian ice hockey league (until 2006: Serbian-Montenegrin ice hockey league). From 2007 to 2009 he also played with the club in the Serbian-Croatian Pannonian League , which he won with his team in 2009. He then moved to HK Partizan Belgrade . With the capital club he played in the Slohokej League, which is dominated by Slovenia . He has been back in his hometown since 2013 and was on the ice with HK NS Stars in the Serbian ice hockey league until 2017 . He then returned to his home club HK Vojvodina and has since played in the newly founded Slovene-dominated International Hockey League .

International

For Serbia and Montenegro Mirković 2005 took part in the competitions of the U18 World Cup and the U20 World Cup in Division II. After the breakaway of Montenegro, he took part in the U20 World Championships in 2007 in Division II and in 2008 in Division III for the all-Serbian team .

In the men's area, Mirković played with the Serbian team at the 2007 , 2008 and 2009 World Cups in Division II. After the Serbs had been promoted for the first time at the tournament in his hometown Novi Sad in 2009 , Mirković played with his team in Division I in 2010 , had to but accept the immediate relegation. He himself scored both Serbian goals in the 3-2 defeat after extra time against the Netherlands , in which the Serbs scored their only point. He also took part in the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver for Serbia . After eight years without playing for Serbia internationally, he was back in his country's team at the 2018 World Cup in Division II.
