Filipp Jurjewitsch Metljuk ( Russian Филипп Юрьевич Метлюк ; born December 13, 1981 in Toljatti , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Nyoman Hrodna in the Belarusian extra league .
Career
Filipp Metljuk began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Lada Tolyatti , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 1998 to 2000 . He then played for two years for the ZSK WWS Samara in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. From 2002 to 2008 the defender was in the super league for his ex-club HK Lada Tolyatti, with whom he was runner-up in 2005, and Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast on the ice. He then moved to HK Awangard Omsk in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . He spent a year and a half there before being handed over to its league rivals HK CSKA Moscow in January 2010 .
For the 2010/11 season Metljuk was signed by KHL promoted HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk before he moved to Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the summer of 2011 together with Denis Tyurin . After Novokuznetsk had no chance of reaching the play-offs in January 2013, Metljuk was given to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . In 2014 Metljuk won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup, with Metallurg .
International
For Russia Metljuk took part in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2005 , which he won with his team. He came to three international appearances, in which he remained pointless and received two penalty minutes.
