Filippos Sachinidis
Filippos Sachinidis ( Greek Φίλιππος Σαχινίδης , born March 27, 1963 in Vancouver ) is a Greek politician and economist .
Life
Sachinidis received his BA in Economics from the University of Piraeus and his Masters in Economics from Queens College and the City University of New York . He holds a PhD from Manchester University .
politics
In 2007 and 2009 he was elected to the Greek parliament for PASOK . From March 21, 2012 to May 17, 2012 he was the successor of Evangelos Venizelos Finance Minister of Greece in the Papadimos cabinet .

Filippos Sachinidis is married to Ourania Karageorgou and has one son.
