The cabinet of the transitional government of Greece of Prime Minister Loukas Papadimos was in office from November 11, 2011 to May 17, 2012 and replaced the cabinet of Giorgos Andrea Papandreou . The government was supported by a three-party coalition made up of PASOK , Nea Dimokratia and LAOS .

On February 10, 2012, LAOS withdrew its support from the government because the party was no longer willing to support the drastic austerity measures that the EU , ECB and IMF had made a condition for further financial aid. Makis Voridis then joined the Nea Dimokratia .

Because after the parliamentary election on May 6, 2012 No majority government was formed, called President Papoulias for the June 17, 2012 a new election and occupied the post of prime minister with one of the chief judge of the country, Pikrammenos .

On May 17, 2012, the Papadimos cabinet was replaced by the Panagiotis Pikrammenos cabinet .
