history

Medieval mills in the Weidatal can be traced back to the 13th century. According to documentary entries in private ownership, the work of Samuel Keil as sheep master at the Flarichsmühle can be dated between 1810 and 1840, making it the first known entry on the work of the mill. The Flarichsmühle was a grinding and grist mill for bakers and farmers in the early 1950s. With German reunification , a new stage was opened for this historic site. Diversity returned under the motto: natural food store-country trade-beverage market-garden market-grain mill and corner shop and more in the Flarichsmühle.
