Flavio Paolucci, Swiss object artist

Flavio Paolucci (born June 20, 1934 in Torre TI ) is a Swiss painter , sculptor , object and installation artist .

Live and act

Paolucci attended the Cantonal School for Painting in Lugano from 1949 to 1953 . In 1955 he started working in the Oscar Bölt studio in Locarno and attended the Brera Art Academy in Milan. In the same year he started exhibiting. After stays abroad in Paris and Morocco, he settled in Biasca , where he now works as an object artist, painter, draftsman and collagist .

Awards

  • 1958: 1st prize at the Biennale of Young Artists in Gorizia
  • 1961: 2nd prize at the UNESCO international exhibition
  • 1986: Prize from the Foundation for Graphic Arts in Switzerland
  • 1999: Prize of the Wilhelm Gimmi Foundation in the Musée Jenisch Vevey
