Florența Crăciunescu , nee Ionescu , first marriage Țacu , (born May 7, 1955 in Craiova ; † June 8, 2008 ) was a Romanian athlete .

In the discus she was at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow with 64.38 m sixth, at the European Athletics Championships 1982 in Athens with 64.00 m seventh and at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki ninth with 62.14 m. In 1981 and 1983 she won the Universiade . The high point of her career was the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. With 63.64 m she won bronze in the discus throw behind the Americans Leslie Deniz and Ria Stalman from the Netherlands. In the shot put she was eighth with 17.23 m.

Florența Crăciunescu was 1.81 m tall and weighed 92 kg. She achieved her best performance with 69.50 m in August 1985. Her sister Carmen Ionesco took part in the Olympic Games in 1972 and 1984 in the shot put and discus throw.
