Florida is a town in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Florida is the central place of the canton of Florida in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Cabezas in the province of Cordillera . The community is located at an altitude of 583 m on the left, northern bank of the Río Seco Florida , which flows downstream a few kilometers southeast of the village of Río Seco into the Río Grande .

Florida is located on the southeastern edge of the Bolivian Cordillera Oriental in the area of the subtropical climate and is characterized by a six-month dry season that extends from May to October.
