The Qaarsut Airport ( IATA code: JQA , ICAO: BGUQ ) is a Greenlandic Airport near the eponymous village on the west coast of the island.
The airport, which opened in 1999, serves as a link between the area around Qaarsut and the larger Uummannaq , 25 kilometers to the southeast . There are connections to Kangerlussuaq Airport , which in turn is connected to Copenhagen .
The airport is also served by the Danish Air Force .
