Daneborg ("Dänenburg") is a small military base on the east coast of Greenland on the Wollaston Forland peninsula on the north coast of Young Sund opposite the island of Clavering Ø . It is constantly manned by twelve people and has been the location of the Sirius sled patrol since 1951 , which also supervises the Northeast Greenland National Park. Daneborg has a runway about 400 meters long ( ICAO : BGDB).

Daneborg consists of 23 buildings, which are supplied with electricity by four electricity generators, each with an output of 150 to 250 kW. Each of these diesel generators uses 180,000 liters of fuel per year. The 300 tons of fuel and supplies required annually are delivered from Denmark by sea. In the winter time, the military base produces the fresh water it needs through reverse osmosis . The existing system can produce up to three tons of drinking water per day.

At the Daneborg site, the Zackenberg research station, 21 kilometers north-northwest and also on Young Sound, operates a marine research laboratory .
