The Zaporizhia International Airport , sometimes Zaporizhia Mokraya Airport ( Ukr. : Міжнародний аеропорт "Запоріжжя" or Міжнародний аеропорт "Запоріжжя" Мокра , rus. : Международный аэропорт "Запорожье" or Mеждународный аэропорт "Запорожье" Мокрая ), is the international airport of the Ukrainian city Zaporizhia . It is located 12 km east of the city and is operated by SE International Airport Zaporozhye . It serves as the basis for the Motor Sich airline and has around 128,000 passengers (2015).

Location and transport links

The airport is located 12 km from Zaporizhia, 70 km from Dnipro and 180 km from Donetsk . It can be reached from Dnepropetrovsk via the M18 on which it is located. Coming from Donetsk, it can be reached via the H15. Buses, taxis and other local means of transport run to Zaporizhia every hour .
