The Odessa Airport ( Ukrainian Міжнародний аеропорт "Одеса" ) is the airport of the city of Odessa in the Ukraine and is operated by a specially formed company. The airport was opened in 1961, and in 1982 it was expanded to accommodate cargo air traffic . The renovation of the main line began in May 2007. The runways are used by small aircraft (grass runway), by large aircraft and also by the Ukrainian Air Force (concrete runway).
