The Vinnytsia Airport ( ICAO code : VIN ; IATA Code : UKWW , Ukrainian Міжнародний Аеропорт "Вінниця» (Гавришівка) , Mischnarodnyj Aeroport "Vinnytsia" (Gawryschiwka) ) is the airport of the western Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia and is located about eight kilometers east of the city center .

The airport has existed since the 1950s and is suitable for aircraft the size of the Airbus A320 , Boeing 737 , Tupolev Tu-154 , Jakowlew Jak-42 or Saab 340 . He is, among other things by the airline Ukraine International Airlines fly, covers an area of 226 hectares and has a runway of concrete with a length of 2500 meters and a width of 42 meters.
